Qanuingisiarta is a project that has four main objectives:

WORKING TOGETHER TOWARDS COMMUNITY WELLBEING

We worked with community members in building the objectives and the methods of the project. Local co-researchers conducted interviews with key informants and helped with qualitative data analysis. We have been using a grounded theory approach to develop tools that are meant to support community members in their work.

With their help we are developing a common understanding of Inuit wellbeing, documenting examples of these practices, documenting the challenges and the facilitators as well as the ways to create supporting environments.
